DIRECTIONS TO EDISTO HIGH SCHOOL FROM

COLUMBIA, SC

Travel I-26 towards Charleston,  Take the 145A Exit (SCSU, Claflin, Hospital),  this will put you on Hwy 601.  You will travel through nine stoplights

                1^st stop light – Speedway on right)

                2^nd stop light – OC Tec/Hospital on left

                3^rd stop light – Chrysler/Dodge of Orangeburg on right

                4^th stop light – Orangeburg Technology Center (on left)/April’s Gyms(on right)

                5^th stop light – gas station (Lil’ Cricket on right)

                6^th stop light – CVS on right  

                7^th stop light – SCSU State on left  

                8^th stop light – Railroad corner/Claflin Welcome Center on left)                 

                9^th stop light – McDonald’s on right

Turn right at railroad corner (at McDonald’s.  This will put you on 301S towards Bamberg, SC)   

From this point (approximately 5.5 miles) you will travel through nine stop lights.

                1^st stop light – gas station/insurance company on right

                2^nd stop light – Kentucky Fried  Chicken/Bank

                3^rd stop light – car wash on right/Pizza  Hut on left

                4^th stop light – Broughton Street

                5^th stop light – Edisto Gardens entrance/CVS/Burger King

                6^th stop light – Dodge’s gas station on left

                7^th stop light – Rivelon Road/Bank on left

                8^th stop light – Old Motel on left (stay on 301S)

9^th stop light – gas station on left (before you come to this stop light – there is a caution sign over  Hwy 301 saying prepare to stop when flashing)

                Turn left at this (ninth) light.  We are approximately 1.5 miles on left.
